Welcome to my solo exhibition “The Silent Land”. Enter a mysterious world of emptiness and quiet. Look upon vistas of deserted landscapes and derelict buildings. Enjoy the silence of this strange place…
The paintings and collages shown at the exhibition are made over a period of five years. They are all original art on paper, all are for sale.
The exhibition takes place from September 7th to 29th in the gorgeous Museum Jan Boon in De Rijp. You are most welcome to come to the opening on September 7th at 16:00. Talented painter and Art Academy professor Maarten Welbergen will provide the opening speech.
The Museum is open every weekend from 13:00 to 17:00. Admittance is free.
Museum Jan Boon is found in the Rechtestraat 146. You can easily get there from Amsterdam Central Station by bus 305 to De Rijp, halte Wollandje. From there it’s a five minute walk to the Museum.
If you come by car, parking spaces can be difficult to find in the proximity of the Museum. Please check your planner for advise.
