Frogs are one of Mother Nature’s most endearing animals. Why is it then that they are so often overlooked, loathed, feared even? Agreed, they can be poisonous and dangerous. But look at those little fingers! Those bulgy eyes!
In 2016 and 2017 I worked on a very special project: The Endangered Frogs Project. I finished twelve small paintings of (critically) endangered frogs and toads. Eight of them have been sold already. Part of the proceeds go to Stichting RAVON, for the protection of reptiles, amphibians and fish in The Netherlands.
The last two frog species on this page are not endangered (thank Goddess), but no less sweet. Enjoy!
